Stevan Nikcevic

Stevan Nikcevic was born on September 5, 1961 in Belgrade, where he finished grammar school and graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences.

  • From 1988 until mid-1999, he worked in the Ministry of Interior of Republic of Serbia
  • 1999-2000 was engaged in private business
  • 2000-2001 Co-Minister of Interior in the Government of Republic of Serbia;
    • Member of the Coordination Body of the Government of Serbia for South Serbia.
  • 2001-2002 Assistant to the Federal Minister of Interior
    • Member of the Consultative Task Force for signing of the EU Stabilization and Association Process for FRY;
    • Member of the Council of the Faculty of Political Science for International Studies;
    • Head of the Yugoslav Delegation at the UN Conference on Small Arms;
    • Management Board member at the company Zimpa;
    • 2002-2012 General Director of JP Yugoimport – SDPR
      • Member of the Management Board and Assembly of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce;
      • Member of the Management Board of Srpska banka;
      • Vice President of the Serbian Association of Employers “Poslodavac”;
      • Member of the Board of the Trade Association of the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce
      • Panelist on international conferences on strengthening of regional trade-economic cooperation

AWARDS IN THE AREA OF ECONOMY:

  • Award for Development and Promotion of Serbia – Serbian Chamber of Commerce, 2008.
  • Businessman of the Year Award for 2009. – Belgrade Chamber of Commerce

He speaks English and Italian. Married, father of two children.
